After a delicious cup of café latte, we decided to set off for Southern Maine.
Halfway there, we stopped for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel where I purchased a lovely angel card from http://www.bluemountain.com.
I can always find something magical at the Cracker Barrel store.
We then drove to Kennebunkport, Maine, which was very quaint and tiny. It reminded us of Newport, R.I a bit.
It was an extremely pleasant day, so we walked on the beach where I picked up quite a few Abundant & Blessed stones. These are smooth rocks, which you can keep in your pocket and whenever you feel one of them, you are to remember how Blessed and Abundant you are.
If you get one of these from me, consider yourself really, really blessed and abundant!
If not, go find one yourself, the next time you are at a river or beach. Look for the smoothest stone you can find, and one that is small enough to fit into your pocket unobtrusively. When you feel the smoothness of it, remember that is exactly how your life ought to be; smooth and effortless.
We drove to Wells, York and Kittery where we did a bit of shopping. I found some lovely coffee mugs at the Wedgwood store, as well as some chocolate truffles from Lindt.
Surprisingly, I ate only one. Actually, I am not surprised, since I tapped myself for that chocolate addiction. I’ll talk about tapping in another post.
For now, I just wanted to write about this terrific day we had enjoying the coast of Southern Maine.
At home, we watched a charming movie entitled
‘Say Anything’, while enjoying a smooth bottle of 2001 Merlot from Sterling Vineyards.
Now, I am about to do a bit of reading from
You Are God Get Over It, before calling it a night.
