My checklist of things to look forward to!

100 Things for 2009

  1. To articulate in writing 99 things I desire to manifest in 2009.
  2. Read a book a week.
  3. Read the rest of  Urusla Le Guin’s books.
  4. Watch more good feeling movies.
  5. Embark on our Annual Cruise to a new destination.
  6. Explore a different area of New England every other weekend.
  7. Visit parents.
  8. Work out at least 4 times a week.
  9. Plant more vegetables  this coming Spring.
  10. Record a photo diary.
  11. Rendezvous with more friends.
  12. Listen to a different XM station each day.
  13. Ride in a hot air balloon
  14. See the Northern Lights
  15. Become more vibrationally attuned.
  16. Meet the President of the United States.
  17. Receive a postcard from every state as well as every country in the world.
  18. Stay at a castle in Scotland or Ireland.
  19. Create more beautiful one of a kind jewelry.
  20. Compile and publish a recipe book.
  21. Refurnish dining room.
  22. Elton John concert.
  23. Meditate for 15 minutes a day, everyday.
  24. Look for the joy in my daily routine.
  25. Work on Geni.
  26. Prepare a new recipe at least four times a week.
  27. Develop a daily writing practice.
  28. Practice  food appreciation before eating.
  29. Give up more often.
  30. Complete the scrapbook I am currently working on.
  31. Broadway theatre.
  32. Add books to my Amazon wishlist.
  33. Paint laundry room.
  34. Freecycle electronics.
  35. Learn to knit.
  36. Treat myself to formal teatime  more often.
  37. Play the What If game more often.
  38. Make daily lists of appreciation.
  39. Be more selective in my thoughts.
  40. Focus on only good news.
  41. Picnic at Walden Pond in the Summer.
  42. Spend a day on Block Island.
  43. Weekend in Bar Harbor.
  44. Meditate on Flickr more often.

 

  1. Add to my collection of fine bone china plates for my dinning room walls.
  2. Take myself LESS seriously.
  3. Continue making daily contributions to the wellbeing of self and others (Wellbeing Journal).
  4. Practice deep breathing.
  5. Watch all the TED talks.
  6. Sow Morning Glory around the deck.
  7. Complete all unfinished cross-stitch projects.
  8. Giving my undivided attention to what is before me.
  9. Simplify.
  10. Eat Chinese food besides the fireplace.
  11. Float down the Merced River in Yosemite.
  12. Spend an entire summer’s day in my hammock in the garden.
  13. Become a companion with my IB.
  14. Take weekends off from cooking.
  15. Sleep more.
  16. Go to bed being appreciative.
  17. Stitch a BAM for Miranda.
  18. Complete Mother’s Day project
  19. Aadya’s project
  20. Blue room project
  21. Tapestry Bloom pillow
  22. More day trips to NYC, when street festivals are on.
  23. Orlando in the Spring.
  24. Visit top 5 chocolate makers in New England (as listed by Yankee magazine)
  25. See the Pinchot Sycamore ; largest tree in New England.
  26. Breakfast at the Modern Diner listed as the best diner in New England.
  27. Attend a summer concert in  Tanglewood
  28. Take naps.
  29. Surprise someone.
  30. Walk barefoot in the garden for a day.
  31. Mandala coloring book.
  32. Learn a new beading technique.
  33. Read  Wiki randomly on a daily basis.
  34. Donate all the winter clothes I did not wear this year.
  35. Do one thing at a time and be present with it.
  36. Call  friends who do not have email.
  37. Mail a care package  to a student.
  38. Make new friends.
  39. Ask for help.
  40. Say no more often.
  41. Take photos of street signs with my friends name and mail it to them.
  42. See all the “gems” in New England as listed in the AAA guidebook.
  43. Add to my Creation Box
  44. Join the Grafton Library
  45. Take train into Boston  and spend a tourist day there.
  46. Fill out all questionnaires at Authentichappiness.org
  47. Learn sign language .
  48. Jump on a trampoline
  49. Help someone realize one their ‘to do’ list things.
  50. Remember  to ask ‘what’s good about this’ during a contrasting experience.
  51. Eat only foods I enjoy.
  52. Explore unfamiliar subject areas in the library or bookstore.
  53. Visit Mesa Verde NP
